Jon Campbell was born and raised in Glasgow, Scotland, where he spent his teenage years singing in various local bands.
He achieved his first musical breakthrough with his electronic dance project, The Time Frequency, which lead to international chart success and sold-out arena concerts as well as TV appearances including Top of the Pops, MTV and numerous other shows.

A lifelong musician, Jon has many strings to his bow, including being an award-winning singer, songwriter, producer and now radio show presenter as well as currently working on his first solo album. Jon’s music has been worked on by many established artists ranging from The Prodigy to Vince Clarke and he has also produced and remixed for other artists including A-Ha, N-Trance and most recently fellow Scottish artist Michael Oakley.

Not only a passionate musician, Jon also writes and directs music videos and adverts and provides voiceover services for brands including Yamaha, Go Radio, Almeria Radio and many others. His talents include vocal impressions, many of which can be found on this site.

In between a hectic schedule, Jon also presents a popular weekly radio show on Almeria Radio called ‘Jon Campbell’s Ultimate Playlist’. Dubbed ‘The World’s Most Unique Radio Show’, it has, in the space of 3 years, gathered a large international following of devoted listeners. On this show, Jon takes us on a trip through his personal music collection and the songs range from synthpop and new-wave classics to album tracks, extended mixes and rarities that deserve more radio-play. The show also features many unusual aspects including comedy voice jingles sung by Jon.
